When did you know you wanted to work in beauty?
I didn’t dabble in makeup until I did theatre in college. Theatrical makeup grew my interest in beauty, and I decided to make it a career by working at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street in 2001. I realized I loved to empower women by making them feel better or excited about how they look.

If you could time-travel to any era, which one would you pick?
Take me to the '70s! I want the feathered hair, bell-bottoms, butterfly collar, and lamé to hit the disco club scene. Haha! I was too young to really experience the time.

What’s your favorite memory of working for the brand?
My first fashion week in NYC. I jumped in at the last minute and felt accomplished, motivated, and really fortunate to be part of the team and brand. What’s cool is that it's a time when so many creative people come together to put on a beautiful show.

What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever visited?
Capri, Italy. The architecture, the cobblestone streets, the colors of the buildings, the mountains—it all combines the new with the old.

What’s one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
What’s one thing people would be surprised to learn about you? I used to perform in musicals throughout my 20s and was also part of a couple hip-hop dance crews in college.
